About the Build Reuse Wiki
Updated Mar 22
Hello, and welcome to the Build Reuse Wiki!
The purpose of this Wiki is to serve as an online space for anyone interested in the reuse of building materials both to learn about existing resources and to share information (for more, refer to the following page - Brief History of the Build Reuse Wiki).
Introduction to the Wiki Concept
Refer to the Build Reuse website for the latest on the Wiki: https://www.buildreuse.org/wiki
Navigation
If you are on a computer - you can navigate this Wiki through the options on the left sidebar.
If you are on a phone - you can navigate this Wiki by tapping the grey "Build Reuse - General" text at the top of the page to get to the page options. Please note that it is much easier to navigate this resource on a computer versus on mobile.
Guidelines
- Give credit where credit is due; cite sources as appropriate
- Avoid openly advertising particular for-profit entities
- The exception is when you are submitting entries to the many reuse businesses maps and databases listed in the Wiki
- Avoid posting resources and information that will quickly become outdated
- In general, look to post each resource once on the Wiki to avoid potential future need for updating the resource in two places
We Appreciate Feedback from You!
Content is regularly updated by the Build Reuse Data + Policy Committee co-chairs. If you would like to see particular online resources (links or documents) added to the Wiki, contact info@buildreuse.org.
